Megan is a cake genius! She took my inspiration photos and created two cakes (the wedding cake and a groom’s cake) that were beyond my highest expectations! I picked Nutmeg & Co after going to a ton of bakeries because her cake tasted the best BY FAR.

I was married on August 28th on Peaks Island, and food was one top priority for our wedding – Black Tie did not disappoint! All of the food has to be transported from Portland out to Peaks Island, which made me a little bit nervous, but everything was amazing – both in taste and preparation.

We ordered our wedding and groom’s cakes from Ruth’s and it was wonderful. They are one of the most reasonably priced bakers in the state and they do a fabulous job. Not only do they make buttercream look incredible and clean cut, but the whole cake and frosting tastes amazing.
