About

You want your wedding to be just right. You’re making every choice with care.

The heart of your wedding day is the wedding itself — your ceremony. Let the words you speak and hear fit you as well as the clothes you wear.

I would be honored to help you create a wedding ceremony to celebrate the life you are beginning together. I have a wide variety of readings and vows on hand and I’m happy to add poems or lyrics that you love.

Your wedding ceremony can be civil, spiritual, or nondenominational. It can be lighthearted, romantic, or creatively themed.

You can use ancient rituals, modern ones or none at all. If your new marriage will blend faiths or cultures, we can combine traditions from each in a way that respects both. It’s your choice.

My commitment is to support you in your journey and create a beautiful ceremony that adds to your joy.

Frequently Asked Questions about Officiant

What officiant services do you provide?

Civil Union, Interfaith Ceremony, Non-religious Ceremony, Single Religion Ceremony

What religious affiliations do you serve?

Agnostic, Baha'i Faith, Buddhist, Christian - Quaker, Hindu, Jewish, Muslim, Shinto, Sikhism, Taoist

Can you accommodate the hearing impaired?

Yes

Are you willing to perform a ceremony at a non-religious site?

Of course! I've performed weddings at the beach, parks, banquet halls, and even ESPN Zone.

What is your attire for the ceremony?

I wear a black suit and a top that will coordinate, or at least not clash, with the wedding colors.

Are you flexible in the wording used throughout the ceremony, including the vows?

Absolutely. It's your wedding. The words should be just right for you.

Do you allow the couple to write their own vows, if desired?

Sure. As I said, it's your wedding. I'll use the vows you write, or if you like, I'll prepare vows for you to use or change as you see fit.

Do you have a list of readings pre-selected, from which the couple must choose?

I have readings to show you, and I'm happy to use anything else you would like. If there is a song or poem you like but can't find, I'll help you find it.

How long are your ceremonies?

Every ceremony is different. It all depends on what you choose and when you begin counting time. A ceremony with a processional involving multiple attendant, readings and one or more unity rituals could take half an hour or a bit more. The shortest possible ceremony could be 5 minutes.

Do you require that premarital counseling be done?

No.

Are you willing to perform pre-ceremony rehearsals?

Yes. The fee I set will include the rehearsal if you are planning one.

Do you supply a sound system?

I have a sound system available upon request. There will be a small additional charge.
