Frequently Asked Questions about Ceremonymusic
What ceremony music arrangements can you provide?
String - Quartet, String - Trio
What instruments does your group play?
Cello, Viola, Violin
How much space do you usually require?
Each musician needs an armless chair, preferably with padded seats or cushions. If music stands are available at the location, we will use them - otherwise we will provide our own stands and stand lights. Because of the delicate nature of our instruments, we also need sufficient space - we merely require a rectangular area of approximately 8 feet by 8 feet that will not be traversed by others during the time of our performance, such as waiters, or groomsmen. If we are playing for a wedding, we need to be situated where we are able to see the wedding party as they enter.
Do you charge for travel expenses? If yes, how much do you charge?
Our professional rate starts at $550 and will depend upon the event location, type, length of service, number of musicians involved, performance conditions, and other factors. Travel Fees may apply for any event more than 10 miles outside the Shreveport-Bossier City Limits and are calculated based upon the mileage and estimated travel time. For an accurate quote, please send our Booking Agent an email or leave a concise message with your name and event date so we can confirm our availability before returning your call.
