Owner: Mark "DJ Battle" Adams
DJ Battle was born Mark Adams in Brooklyn, NY. His early attraction to the sounds of the 70′s & 80′s was intensified when a family member took the budding music enthusiast to see a local DJ playing in Brooklyn’s Ft. Greene Park. The young ambitious DJ Battle worked long hours every day for an entire summer to save money to buy his first set of professional DJ equipment. With a combination of practice, natural skill, and a love of music he became an accomplished turntablist in his teens. Eager and confident, DJ Battle hit the New York City nightclub scene at age 16.
In 1994, DJ Battle relocated to Atlanta. He quickly created a buzz as one of Atlanta’s hottest DJs by promoting the still famed “Tri-State Party” with Wax Factor Entertainment. They electrified clubs and parties all over the city with their unique and upbeat style that cleverly combined an eclectic catalog that included Hip Hop, R&B, Pop, Reggae, House, Blues, Jazz and Neo-Soul.
After a brief hiatus and with much success in other business ventures, DJ Battle has returned to the turntables in a major way! He owns and operates bothThatsGoodRadio.com (A 24/7 internet radio station with live programming and streaming of Pop, Hip Hop, R&B, Neo Soul, House and Afrobeat music), in a partnership with iTunes as well as One Sound and Entertainment (A highly celebrated and successful full service DJ, lighting, audio/visual equipment company that is fully equipped with top-of-the-line equipment, top-rated DJs, and an exceptional musical library).
DJ Battle’s intense and exciting performance style has been enjoyed throughout North America, South America, Europe, Asia and Africa. His work has been praised by Jezebel Magazine, Essence.com, Martha Stewart Weddings Magazine, Munaluchi Brides Magazine, Bridal Bar, Cumulas Media Group, Atlanta Bridal, The Atlantan magazine, IBM, The Wedding Channel and TheKnot.com. This music enthusiast matches his zeal with a polished professionalism that makes him a favored DJ for all kinds of events today.
DJ Battle’s versatile artistic flare and overwhelming love for music guarantees a memorable celebration! Choose DJ Battle…The Musical Heavyweight Champ!
