Rustic Grace Estate was the most perfect venue for me and my husband. While we were searching for the "ideal perfect" venue we knew we wanted it to be rustic themed and in a barn. As I was looking them up online I came across RGE and the next day we went on our tour. Katrina was so amazingly helpful from the first day we contacted her all the way up until after our wedding. The second we stepped into the barn my husband looked at me and said "I think this is it." It was then we chose that we wanted to spend the best day of our lives at this venue. Yes, we only toured one venue, yes our very first venue, and yes it was so unbelievably perfect.
Katrina was so helpful and so dedicated to help us with whatever we needed assistance on or if we had any questions, she would respond in a reasonable time (1-2 days IF THAT) and she would do it with kindness and assurance. I can't imagine how much I got on her nerves with all of my stress and crazy questions, but she was always so sweet with ... Read moreher responses. RGE seriously brought our dreams to life and we couldn't be more thankful for the way our wedding night turned out. Once again, thank you so much Katrina for cattering to us and our needs/dreams we couldn't have done it without you and your wonderful husband, Kevin!

Kyle and Bailey tied the knot in our white wedding chapel on a beautiful, sunny afternoon in August! From the beginning, we knew that this wedding day was going to be one for the books. From the pastel shades of cream, pink, and green to the gorgeous floral arrangements, Kyle and Bailey’s wedding was nothing short of chic and elegant. Our vintage red barn and 3 acre lake provided the perfect country setting and just the right amount of “rustic” to the day. Thank you, Kyle and Bailey, for choosing Rustic Grace Estate and we wish you many years of happiness!
On a beautiful April evening, surrounded by friends and family, Rachel and Tom became husband and wife! Shades of purple, yellow, and green added a pop of color and elegance to the rustic red barn, and the simple décor in the white vintage wedding chapel showcased the natural beauty of the surrounding property. The sky was blue, the flowers were blooming, and natural light poured in through every angle. Each and every detail contributed to a unique and gorgeous wedding day! At the reception, the bride, groom, and their guests had a wonderful time hanging out and dancing outside underneath the moon and the glowing string lights! We are absolutely ecstatic that Rachel and Tom chose Rustic Grace Estate as their venue, and we are so very excited for their future together. Congratulations, once again, Rachel and Tom!
Sidney and Seth’s day was one for the books! Their winter wedding was held at a gorgeous venue, Rustic Grace Estate, in Van Alstyne, Texas. This was my first time to shoot at this venue and it has quickly become one of my favorite wedding locations in Texas! Filled with soft colors, peonies a white chapel and a red barn, you couldn’t ask for a more perfect southern wedding! My favorite part about this venue is the atmosphere of simple elegance that is felt as soon as you step through the dark wooden doors of the chapel. You immediately feel a sense of calm and peace. The few moments I spent alone in the chapel photographing details I felt a sense of anticipation that brought only joy. I could see that something big was about to happen here. The simple design and use of natural wood shows such a strong sense of rooted tradition that is felt. It beautifully accents the reason we are truly here–to celebrate a marriage beginning. It never distracts from the purpose of this day, rather every piece of the design of Rustic Grace adds to the real and true moments of the day. And lest we forget about that red, red barn. Every bride needs to make sure they have at least one photograph with the red barn behind them! It is the perfect touch to remind these brides of their southern roots. My other favorite piece of Rustic Grace is the gorgeous bridal room. Natural light pours in, allowing for photos of the bride preparing to see her groom to be soft and simple. Yet the best part of the day was the way Sidney and Seth carried themselves throughout the day. These two are the real deal. Every piece of this day moved me and made me remember why I absolutely love this job. My absolute favorite part of Seth & Sidney’s day was all of the sweet, in between, quiet moments especially the seconds shared between these two immediately after they exited the chapel after the ceremony ( posted below!!) Sidney and Seth walked away from the crowd and allowed each other to create a few moments of a private world, just for them to share. They had a moment to quietly promise to each other that this is so much than just a pretty day, it was a promise they made before all those they love to honor and respect each other. And they are ready to keep this forever in their world. Thank you for allowing me to capture this day! (All vendors listed below!)
I love that these rings from Great-grandparents were Sidney’s “something borrowed”
Love this sweet moment between Sidney and her Dad before the first look….
Sidney and Seth chose to do a first look and it was perfect!
I officially met Abby over a year ago at a wedding I was filming. I immediately knew that she was going to be such fun to work with! Hunter and Abby’s wedding was nothing short of amazing. The details they put into the weddings from the decorations to the intimacy in their wedding ceremony- their love was felt the entire day. I was thrilled to find out that their wedding was at Rustic Grace Estate. I have photographed at RGE two times, and each time I had a blast! One of my favorite things about Rustic Grace Estate is the variety of space you can photograph/video in. The bride’s room has AMAZING natural light, the chapel and beautiful barn are absolutely breathtaking, and the property grounds are covered with beautiful, mature trees. It’s a photographer’s dream! Each time I come to RGE I always try to capture my brides in front of that amazing, red barn. What other place in DFW has something like that?! It is definitely on my “must photograph” list. All in all, being a part of Hunter and Abby’s wedding day was such a blessing for me. Seeing Hunter — this man who I never would have dreamt would cry — tear up at the sight of his bride… I cannot put into words… I needed a tissue, too!
