The Lalumondiere is an historical grist mill that sits along the banks of the Big River in Jefferson County. Views of the river, waterfall and a dam are accessible from every angle of the site. Lush greenery surrounds all. in a perfect natural setting.

How does your venue determine the cost of the space?

One pricing package upon request.

Do you require clients to use a specific list of vendors?

No specific vendor is required though all foods must be provided by a licensed caterer. Andre's is our 'preferred' caterer though we will work with others of your choice for an additional fee of $150.00

Do you require the client to use your musicians? If you do not require this, is that an additional fee to bring in one's own musicians?

Customer may provide their own musicians or DJ's.

Can the client provide their own alcohol if desired?

Yes. The Lalumondiere provides no alcohol. We do, however, require that a professional bar tender(s) be employed for the event. Alcohol is limited to beer and wine. Service must end one half hour prior to event end time.

What restrictions (if any) on decorations?

All decorations must be approved by The Lalumondiere.

What restrictions (if any) on music?

Music must end by 10:00 pm at the latest, or one half hour prior to the events end time. .

What restrictions (if any) on noise levels?

We reserve the right to monitor music volume.

What is your dress code?

We suggest that guests and bridal party wear appropriate attire and shoes for an outdoor summer wedding.
