If you are like many engaged couples, finding the right minister to partner with is more challenging than you thought.  We'd like to take that difficulty away by allowing you to meet some of the best pastors in Chicago - real pastors, serving real people locally in a Christian ministry.

We love helping couples start off right by performing weddings and marriage ceremonies in the greater Chicago area and suburbs. Whether your wedding ceremony is in a church, a hotel, golf course, country club, restaurant, boat, beach, private home, or museum, we can help make it fun, personal and meaningful!  We take the time to provide personal and custom ceremonies, as well as "traditional", "non-denominational" ceremonies. How can I find the right pastor / minister / officiant? 

It starts by finding someone you like.  Someone you can relate to. Someone you can envision standing in front of your family and friends and helping you celebrate a very significant event.  Our team of local pastors are all personal, professional and eager to help you do just that.  Once you chat with us on the phone, you will be 110% comfortable and confident in taking the next steps.

What is the next step in planning?

We are eager to meet with you and your fiancé to begin planning your big day!  Most couples prefer a face-to-face meeting if possible so that we can get to know each other better and feel comfortable moving ahead.      

What if the pastor is not available on my wedding day?

In the event Pastor Bill is not available to partenr with you on your big day, he will personally do the work for you by referring you to the pastors that are available on that day.  You don't have to call 15 others!  The Chicago pastors  are all personal, professional, and will help you and you family plan a wedding ceremony that is fun , memorable and meaningful.  Visit the Chicago Wedding Pastors team or go to Pastor Bill Yaccino's website.   

What if we live out of state?

If you live outside the greater Chicago area, or have a busy schedule, we can do a telephone interview or Skype meeting instead of an in person meeting.

We include some of the high points of your own story – which honors you and your family, and gives your guests a peek into your relationship so they can celebrate fully with you. We only share those highlights that you choose that are fun, meaningful, and memorable.  We'd be honored to serve you as the minister / wedding officiant on one of the most important days of your lives !

About the WPUSA Chicago Director - Pastor BIll Yaccino:

I have been in full-time pastoral ministry (church work) for 20 years, and have a Masters degrees in theology and in business. I have performed over 500 weddings and would love to help you celebrate on your big day! I do not perform weddings full time, like many you find on the Internet. I am a full-time minister who does weddings, not a full-time wedding minister – big difference! I only perform a marriage ceremony if I know I can be fully present for the couple on their wedding day and the important weeks and months leading up to it! Couples I serve seem to appreciate the fact that weddings are merely a part of the ministry I offer, and that my passion is helping couples form strong, lasting marriages! Beyond that, I am a very “normal” guy who relates well with couples and their families.

What officiant services do you provide?

What religious affiliations do you serve?

Christian (no denomination), Christian - Anglican, Christian - Baptist, Christian - Catholic, Christian - Episcopalian, Christian - Lutheran, Christian - Methodist, Christian - Presbyterian, Evangelical

Can you accommodate the hearing impaired?

No

Are you willing to perform a ceremony at a non-religious site?

Yes

What is your attire for the ceremony?

Black business suit, white shirt, and a classie, subtle tie.

Are you flexible in the wording used throughout the ceremony, including the vows?

Yes

Do you allow the couple to write their own vows, if desired?

Yes

Do you have a list of readings pre-selected, from which the couple must choose?

No, but I can certainly help them select readings that would fit their style and taste.

How long are your ceremonies?

Typically 25-35 minutes depending on what other elements the couple chooses.

Do you require that premarital counseling be done?

No, but my wife and I highly encourage it and offer Couples Coaching as well as resources you can do on your own.

Are you willing to perform pre-ceremony rehearsals?

Yes. If I am not available, I have assistants that are incredible at pulling all the pieces together so everyone is 110% comfortable and confident in the plans.

Do you supply a sound system?

No.
