Sonia started her career in event planning over nine years ago after a successful career as a program director working together with Fortune 500 companies. With a Bachelor of Science in E-business and her many years working with the finest venues and vendors spanning the California Coast, Sonia offers the perfect match of business, creativity, and vendor/client relationships. This along with her impeccable attention to detail, fun loving personality, and a desire to infuse a Signature Style into every event are the foundation of her services.

A Montecito Country Club Wedding ~ Sarah and Marco

Meeting Sarah for the first time was a hoot! We decided on a swank little restaurant in Westlake Village for lunch. A glass of wine and 2 hours later I couldn’t wait to get started on their wedding. Sarah and Marco were so much fun to be around. Sarah’s personality is intoxicating. You have to love a bride that giggles and says hi to her guests as she comes down the aisle. She set the tone for a very fun ceremony. She wore a Lazaro gown and Badgley Mischka shoes. For her winter wedding we chose deep rich colors that were complimentary to the Montecito Country Club. Camilla Svensson Burns provided our floral vision perfectly with depth and soul. Heidi with Zenadia Designs helped us create a beautiful suite of stationary to reflect Sarah and Marco’s desire to have a bit of the 40’s vibe but with a modern twist. Melissa Musgrove sweetly had signs made for the bride and groom to play with during their photos. She’s such a thoughtful photographer! They drank and were merry well into the night. The bride hopped up on the stage to dance with the always fun Ian Musgrove of the MGA Band. Cheers to Sarah and Marco!!

A Bacara Wedding ~ Amy and Kevin

It was a true honor to be such a special part of Amy and Kevin’s wedding. Amy, who is as sweet as she is beautiful, was a joy during the planning process. Her request for a modern and simple wedding was a delight to implement. And I’ve never seen a man so in love with his bride to be. Amy was genuinely touched and so thankful when presented her bouquet by Michael of Louloudi Design. Her bridesmaids kept her in high spirits giggling all morning. Gotta love great gal pals!! And the groomsmen… it was like the Rat Pack met Boondock Saints, love them!













The look from Kevin was priceless when Amy came down the aisle. Their ceremony was filled with meaningful traditional ceremony treats. We loved best the Hand Fasting ceremony where important members of their friends and family placed cords over their hands and her mother completed the ceremony by the binding of the cords. It was truly beautiful. The decor was so uniquely different with it’s inspiring groupings of drift wood and bouquets, guests couldn’t get enough during dinner. We grouped sets of high top cocktail tables together to create a more modern setting for such a hip crowd.









And we couldn’t resist showing off Bacara Resort & Spa’s amazing and oh so delicious sweet treats. Guests go crazy over these beautiful delectable bites.

From a true XOXO BRIDE, I am thrilled to share this wedding full of love and dainty details. When I first met Gabriela and her mother Vivian I was smitten with their soft nature and understanding of beauty in simplicity. We harnessed a true vintage theme by creating our own guest photo booth with drop cloth and props. Vivian had brought to us vintage golf clubs and tennis racquets and we added a vintage full sized bike for guests to play on. The fun lasted for hours! We pulled in nods to the groom’s love of golf by affixing the seating cards to golf tees and resting them on a bed of green moss. The bride’s mother, a wonderfully creative spirit, made our adorable signage. Kerstin of Blue Magnolia beautifully created our arrangements and décor giving everything a special touch. Gabby was dressed in a Watters Collection Style Dallas gown with her shoes by Pink. The bride’s hair piece was custom made by Mercedes Trump of Beautiful Santa Barbara. Bridesmaids were sweetly dressed in lace Anthropolgie dresses with black sash. Our talented photographer Allyson Magda beautifully catches the day’s events. Her attention to detail and ability to capture every moment so perfectly was not missed on this wedding.

A Montecito Country Club Wedding ~ Meryl and Andrew

When I first met Meryl I was giggling inside with excitiment. She was a bride that wanted to test the boundaries and create something amazing for their wedding. And that we did. Meryl and Andrew’s wedding ceremony was stunning. The beautiful Chuppa was custom made by Michael Mantalos of Louloudi Design. The stunningly impressive four post tree was dripping in floral decor and sparkling gems catching the suns rays. Beneath their feet a bed of petals to say their vows. The groom’s family talis lay poetically at the base. Keeping everything clean and white outside for ceremony, we turned up the volume in color for the cocktail and reception. Bold hues of blues, greens, and bright pinks. Oversized guest seating cards rested under a large chandelier dripping with beds and crystal stems. Votives of soft light were suspended throughout the design creating an artistic visual stimulation for their guests.

XOXO BRIDE Coordinator Saralee Franchi gives us Maguire and Kevin’s beautiful and sweet wedding full of detail at the Montecito Country Club. Styled with peonies and roses from the invitations to the bouquets, bright hues of pinks were used throughout the decor. Pretty in Pink is what we label this stunning wedding. The groomsmen boasted ties in stripped pink and white. Our dear friends at S.R. Hogue & Company expertly created depth and textures in the floral designs. For table numbers, the bride chose wine bottles and hand painted the numbers to add a unique and vintage touch. Wine corks were used as seating card holders. Who can resist smiling at a flower girl with a chalk board announcing the bride coming down the aisle! Love it! Saralee gracefully secured every detail of the wedding giving us all the pretty little details to ooh and ahh over.
