Chantel started writing stories when she was nine years old, and her passion for writing anything and everything hasn’t stopped since. She has a degree in creative writing from California State University, Long Beach, and has been writing and editing professionally for the past eight years. Chantel’s writing career has allowed her to experience a wide range of industries. She spent three years as a music journalist, interviewing indie artists in Orange County, California and getting front row access at some of the coolest concerts she’s ever seen. She’s proofed the work of researchers around the world as an editor for the wind energy branch of the International Energy Agency. Her copywriting experience has made her a jack of all trades, writing pieces for yoga studios, parenting blogs, fashion boutiques, jewelers, and, yes... wedding planners. Currently, Chantel lives in Olympia, Washington, with her husband. She continues working as a copywriter and editor while also working tirelessly on her first novel (stay tuned).
