Once we wrapped up our group pictures, we sent the wedding party back to the cocktail hour. Mr. Bracelet and I stayed behind with our photographers to take pictures of just us together.
We started out by taking photos next to the parking lot. Although it might sound a bit odd, the area had great light, beautiful trees, and a superb view of the canyon.
I told you guys that we were getting married in Spearfish Canyon!
Next, we moved on to a wooden bridge located near the Lodge’s restaurant. BM P and I had discovered this location the day before when we scouted all the “scenic” spots close by: two waterfalls, three bridges, nature trails, etc.
As we wrapped up taking pictures on the bridge, I was pretty tired from (what felt like) endless photo taking and hours of traipsing around in high heels. I had gotten dressed at 11:00 AM and pretty much kept busy since then, except for a brief respite when the guys were taking their pictures. With ouchy feet, I requested that Mr. Bracelet carry me back to the cocktail hour. (I love being carried; it happens frequently in our household.)
Our photographer Amy got excited when she discovered my shoes peeking out.
I love this photo in so many ways.
