A Religious Wedding Ceremony Script
Hi Hive! If you’ve customized your wedding ceremony, you know just how hard it is to find the perfect words. We want to make the process a little easier by paying it forward to future brides and grooms by sharing our wedding ceremony scripts with the hive.
If you’d like to participate in sharing your ceremony script, simply submit a copy of your script to guest (at) weddingbee (dot) com, along with answer to the following questions. Include pictures of your ceremony if you like; you can withhold your real names or leave them in.
- Where did your wedding take place (church, synagogue, beach, country club, backyard, etc.)?
- How long was your ceremony?
- Who officiated your wedding, and what was their relationship to you?
- Did you write your own vows? Were they a surprise, or did you write them together?
Feel free to include any other details that you think are important.
On that note, today we’re sharing Mr. and Mrs. Buttons’ religious wedding ceremony script. The Buttons’ ceremony took place at the Carlouel Yacht Club. Their ceremony had a very traditional vibe, even though it didn’t take place inside a church. Read on for their full wedding ceremony script.
On behalf of Justin and Katie I would like to welcome you all to this place. At this moment, Justin and Katie express their love for each other and their desire to live from this day as husband and wife.
Marriage is a gift of God, sealed by a sacred covenant. God gives humans love. Through that love, husbands and wives come to know each other with mutual care and companionship. God gives joy. Through that joy, wives and husbands may share their new life with others, as Jesus shared new wine at the wedding in Cana.
You may be seated.
