I was born and raised in a small town of 2,000, just south of Nashville, Tennessee, but I've come a long way from my roots. I'm a vegetarian, a food snob, a mediocre guitar player, and a cat lover. I also enjoy reading, as well as writing my own short stories. My fiance and I met in high school, and even though I moved to Georgia for college, he followed me a year later. Now we're almost six years strong! I recently moved to rural Mississippi to take my first teaching job through Teach for America, and my fiance is finishing up his last year of college in Atlanta, Georgia and working in IT sales. Though we're used to the long distance thing by now, we can't wait to finally tie the knot and live under the same roof at last. We are planning an intimate wedding celebration for our closest family and friends with a great menu and vintage details. After the wedding, we will live together in Mississippi with our two cats, where I will continue to teach and we will both pursue graduate studies.
