After party s’mores are quickly becoming one of the hottest new trends in wedding planning. And why not? You can’t go wrong with marshmallows and chocolate. They go together like peanut butter and jelly, like Bonnie and Clyde, like you and your new partner. Gathering around a bonfire is a great way to unwind with your guests after the big day and—best of all— you get even more dessert. … read more
Okay everybody, so this DIY is actually a product of my imagination. I got the inspiration when I saw a jewelry mold made out of hot glue. When hot glue hardens it becomes almost like a plastic material. I wanted to create something out of this material because it has so many possibilities and I think that’s awesome. Anyway, these place cards utilize hot glue and glitter and I think they turned out pretty cute. The ones I made are winter themed and sparkly, but I’m sure you DIY divas can think of all kinds of different designs. The way to think about this DIY is like painting with fabric paint or paint pens. If you can do those types of painting, you can do this. So without further ado, let’s get to gluing! … read more
When my fiancé and I got engaged, we received two separate cards from his mother alone, and between all of our assorted relatives, students, and supervisors, we found ourselves surrounded by quite the little collection of congratulatory stationary.

There are so many festive wedding possibilities and fall weddings are so colorful! I just love the way the rich browns, deep reds, and bright yellows come together in fall wedding décor. Like I’ve said before, I like to think of new ways to utilize natural materials if I can. If you’re like me, you’ve been seeing acorns everywhere.
That’s why this idea was a no brainer. I’ve seen crafters do some pretty neat things with acorns and after all, they are fall’s (and squirrel’s) favorite accessory. What I thought might be fun and something I haven’t seen before, are acorn keychains. I thought this could work as a really cute and fall themed wedding favor. So I gathered up some acorns and experimented. The end results (I think) turned out great. Go outside and gather some acorns and we’ll get started. … read more
