About Us

Admiral Fell Inn is a hotel wedding venue located in Baltimore, Maryland. This historic inn is reminiscent of Colonial America and is nestled in the Fells Point neighborhood, which dates back to the 18th century. It features a picturesque waterfront venue and period-appropriate decor, giving couples an elegant and special setting to marry.

Facilities and Capacity

Many couples who host their wedding at the Admiral Fell Inn choose to marry at the Bond Street Pier, a beautiful waterfront space. The pier offers striking views of the Patapsco River and is the neighborhood’s only waterfront wedding area. Tie the knot with Baltimore as your backdrop while up to 120 guests celebrate with you. After the ceremony, loved ones can retire to one of the inn’s reception venues for the festivities to continue. The Admiral’s Ballroom sits on the top floor of the building and features its own rooftop balcony. This space can accommodate 120 guests for banquet-style dining followed by dancing. Intimate gatherings of up to 60 are perfect for the Stone Room, where exposed brick creates a romantic atmosphere.

Services Offered

This venue welcomes couples for a variety of wedding events from ceremonies and receptions to rehearsals and farewell brunches. Their attentive and dedicated staff is available on the day of the event to help with coordination. They also cover setup and cleanup to relieve some of the wedding day stress. The inn provides catering services and offers tastings to help couples create their personalized menu. They can amend the menu to accommodate special requests and dietary restrictions. Also included in the wedding package is a custom cake and overnight stay at the inn for the newlyweds.

History

Fells Point is one of the oldest districts in Baltimore. In the 18th century, it was a bustling port and shipbuilding town that connected the local area to the rest of the world through trade. By the year 1900, the area was consistently packed with sailors and a boarding house called The Anchorage was established to house them. After being used by the YMCA, the building was transformed and opened as an inn. Today, it is a charming boutique hotel that offers guests a glimpse into the past.

  • We absolutely loved our wedding at the Admiral Fell Inn. Sarah, Ruth, Donna, all the servers, the chef, everyone was wonderful to work with and in such happy spirits, it made for such a fun weekend. We had 97 guests, which was just the right amount and Sarah basically helped us coordinate everything, our cake, food, linens, dj...Working with her really made the process and planning so much easier. The view is also amazing and the venue is perfectly placed in the heart of Fells Point. I definitely recommend staying for the weekend and getting the adjoining rooms for both nights so that you have a nice place to get ready with your wedding party. Sarah was also super accommodating and responsive. At the last minute, we decided to add my husbands favorite app from St. Louis, toasted ravioli, and the chef and Sarah made it happen. There were many moments like that over the 6 months of planning and we are so grateful for how easy it all was! We keep hearing from our guests how much f... Read more
