About Us

Thank you for your interest in making Bald Mountain Camps a part of your special day. The Philbrick Family has owned & operated Bald Mountain Camps Resort for over seven decades, hosting guests from all over the world with many third & fourth generation families returning each year to the beautiful shores of Mooselookmeguntic Lake.

Located on the shores of Mooselookmeguntic Lake with stunning views of Elephant Mountain, Kennebago Mountain & Mount Washington, Bald Mountain Camps offers a wonderfully refreshing setting for your wedding celebration. The awe-inspiring sunsets on our lakeside setting is sure to capture the hearts of your family & friends. You can choose to host your event in the stunning main lodge with rustic charm for up to 130 guests or at our outside event area; under the tent for up to 175 guests. No matter which location you choose, your guests will be within feet of the beautiful shoreline. The ceremony itself can be performed here on the lake, at one of the several churches, or any of the beautiful overlooks or outside venues in the area. Bald Mountain Camps offers dates in May, June, the last weekend in August, September, & October on Thursdays or Saturdays.

Thursday weddings will receive a $1,000 discount.

The Philbrick Family & BMC staff invites you to come to Bald Mountain Camps & take a deep breath, relax, & let us make your wedding dreams come true.

Included in the reception fee:

  • Use of tables & chairs inside the lodge or picnic tables under the tent
  • Ensures BMC is closed to the public for day of event
  • China, silverware, linen napkins, & water glasses
  • Any 5 consecutive hours, with a start time determined by you and ending no later than 10pm* However, additional hours can be available at $500/hour.
  • Outdoor Weddings include a 30’ x 50’ tent
  • Set up and tear down
  • Full bar set up with optional pre-purchased kegs.
  • 14 On-site Cabins available for guests: Cabin sizes vary & we recommend that the bridal party assigns cabins based on their guests needs. Two-night minimum stay is required for each cabin for every wedding.

Add-ons:

  • Shuttle service for $400. This includes an 11-passenger van, driver, & 6 round trips to Rangeley with 3 pick-up/drop-off locations.

Final meal counts are required two weeks prior to the scheduled wedding and MUST include vendors.

Full payment is due no later than two weeks prior to the wedding. Forms of payment accepted: cash, check, money order, or certified check. A credit card must be on file & will be charged for any damages incurred by the wedding party or guests. Approval is required to affix materials to the walls, floors, or ceilings. In the event this is done without authorization, any damages will be assessed and charged.

Bald Mountain Camps Resort does not assume responsibility for personal property in guestrooms, tents, or in the main lodge.

  • If you're looking to get married in Rangeley or Oquossoc you have to go with Bald Mountain Camps. My fiance and I chose BMC because it was right on the lake, had beautiful mountain views and allowed us to book the entire resort (main lodge and 14 cabins for our family and friends). The Philbrick family, who owns BMC, were very friendly and accommodating - they have few restrictions which made it easy for us to customize our wedding the way we wanted! They let us set off our own fireworks, have real candles on the tables and were willing to rearrange the dining room so I could have the dance floor exactly where I wanted it. They also let my dad borrow their tables and chairs for our rehearsal BBQ when we had a problem with the ones we had planned on using! Chef Brian put out an amazing cocktail hour spread and the main courses were delicious and beautiful!
