Balmorhea, pronounced Bal-mor-ay, is a secluded, peaceful wedding venue located thirty minutes north of Houston. Balmorhea is a town in Texas with a beautiful state park. In the Balmorhea State Park lies the San Solomon Springs. This Native American sacred place has been a source of fresh water to travelers for hundreds of years. The Carswell family found a stream of crystal clear water on their travels and followed it to the Springs. They named their venue after this beautiful and unique experience.
