We are excited to announce that Michigan's newest Executive Order allows us to host indoor events again!

Bay Pointe Woods is an equestrian-style venue in Shelbyville, Michigan, serving the Grand Rapids, Kalamazoo, and Lansing areas. The venue offers indoor and outdoor settings, including quaint surrounding cottages and lush gardens, to bring any couples’ wedding vision to life.

Facilities and Capacity
At the end of a tree-lined drive, this hidden jewel is the perfect location for weddings of all seasons. Featuring picturesque gardens with water and fire features, outdoor event spaces create a colorful spring backdrop for vibrant photos, or a lavish warmly lit landscape full of autumn hues. With picturesque views of shimmering Gun Lake, as well as the surrounding Boat House Villa and Bay Pointe Woods, this sprawling outdoor location delivers the ultimate natural beauty backdrop for your big day. The Island View Patio offers wonderful lake views and is well suited for morning and afternoon ceremonies. For seasonally colder months, indoor events are graced by the floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace in the Fireside Banquet room, with seating to accommodate up to 72 guests. Modern design accents combined with the rustic setting allow couples the flexibility to design any event, from an elegant black-tie affair to a small and intimate gathering with a relaxed and casual atmosphere. The room is equipped with audio-visual equipment and is most often utilized for ceremonies and rehearsal dinners, with an additional space booked for reception festivities.

Bay Pointe Woods offers expertly designed event spaces and a full-service approach to event coordination. Personalized event management is executed by experienced banquet professionals and event coordination experts to ensure that every detail of your special event is flawlessly handled. The on-site executive chef and elite catering team provide memorable wedding cuisine with offerings sourced from local and market-fresh items. Food and beverage minimums are applied for event rentals, with Saturday events requiring a minimum guest list of 100 attendees. Additional services include:
