Black Dahlia Inc. provides florals for weddings in Melville, New York. Owner Sheryl Cappelli first started her career with flowers when she helped a bride with a makeshift bouquet that ended up saving the day. Since then, she and her team of floral designers have been providing couples in the Long Island region with beautiful arrangements and decor for their ceremony and reception.

Kristin, We do understand your frustration over the current situation and do sympathize. All of our clients this year have gone through a considerable amount of stress and disappointment. We wish we could wave a magic wand and make everything better for each and every one of them. (And maybe for us too!) It is clearly stated on our contract that all payments are non-refundable. We have made the very fair decision, across the board, to refund any payments in excess of the initial 20% retainer payment left to reserve our services. This 20% payment covers the administration costs of things like: your consultation, contract updates, correspondence and reserving time in our calendar. According to our contract, at 3 months, 60% of your contract is due to be paid. We have not held you to this contractual obligation, even though you have chosen to cancel your wedding, rather than postpone. While we wish you didn't leave a 1 star review, we know our amazing clients know who we are as people and will read between the lines and see the consistency of our 5 Star Reviews over the years and will continue to trust our services.
