We choose to get our bridesmaids dresses from Bridal Gallery by Yvonne because of their wide selection. We went shopping for our dresses back in January (for an October wedding). My girls and I had picked out the ones that we wanted and were told to make sure that everyone was fitted by mid March. Simple enough. I ended up calling at the end of March / beginning of April to ensure that the dresses had been ordered and was told that the last girl had just come in to get fitted and that they would be placing the order (my last girl had been fitted around St. Patricks day). I called again a week or so later to make sure that they had been ordered and had been told “they had been meaning to call me”. Apparently the designer was no longer making my dress and they didn’t know if they’d be able to get me the one that I wanted. Read morea back up dress in mind and she was going to call the designer again and let me know by the end of the week which dress would be ordered. No one called me back and when I called the next week it was as if that conversation never happened and I was told “oh no we can’t get you that dress” by the woman who answered the phone. I asked her to place the order of the “back up dress” and stopped in the following week to make sure it had been ordered. At this point it was the beginning of May! When it came time for the dresses to come in, the girls called the store several times and were promised calls back (which they did not receive) and it took one of them going to the salon to see when the dresses would be in. They told her September 13th. I stopped into the store that day since I hadn’t heard anything and had bridesmaids traveling in from out of town for my bridal shower that weekend. When I got to the store the woman working told me that she couldn’t find my paper work and wasn’t sure if my dresses were in but stated that she would call Yvonne and have her call me back. This time I did get a call back stating that the dresses would be in on Monday (after my girls left town again) but that the salon would mail her dress for $20ish dollars (something that I feel should have been complimentary considering all of the other delays that occurred throughout the process)! The girls did end up getting all of their dresses and looked absolutely beautiful and I am actually glad that we ended up with the dresses that they wore, however the entire process was extremely unsettling and frustrating! I had a not so great experience with them in the past and decided to give them a second chance. Every time I spoke to someone on the phone they were super polite and nice, however getting the answers that I needed along the way was quite the challenge!
