Who we are?

The idea behind Bumblebee Linens originated from our own wedding planning experiences. We wanted to make our wedding memorable by creating personalized items for our wedding ceremony and reception. When we started our business in 2007, we initially carried items similar to what we created for our own wedding. If having your items arrive on time and having someone to speak with in customer service on the weekend is important to you, DO NOT do business with this company!) On Thursday, May 9, 2019, I selected and paid for 2-3 USPS shipping for my order #93778. However, you shipped it using FedEx instead. As a result of your change of carrier/shipper, my package will not arrive this weekend as promised. Furthermore, it will not arrive until TUESDAY MAY 14TH! This is extremely upsetting not only because my package will not arrive when promised, but because you sold me USPS shipping and changed it to another service without my consent or even giving me the courtesy of notifying me. This is more than unacceptable. Contact me immediately to begin the conversation of how you are going to right this terrible wrong.

    Though I understand where the customer's frustration is coming from, I feel like we upgraded her shipping at no additional charge. She ordered Thursday at 3:30pm and we shipped it promptly by FedEx 2day on Friday. We clearly state that we ship the next business day and it did arrive in the time frame estimated on our website. Unfortunately in this case, the customer wanted us to ship USPS Priority mail vs FedEx. USPS Priority does count Saturday as one of the businesses days so in theory the package would deliver on either Monday or Tuesday when shipped on Friday. The problem with USPS is that it's not guaranteed. FedEx does guarantee the delivery which is why we try to upgrade packages when we can. The package delivered on Tuesday. I do feel badly that we didn't meet her expectation because as a small business excellent customer service is very important to us. We did offer to refund the shipping and take a full return on her order, but she declined.
