Camino Real Ranch is a wedding and event venue tucked away in central Texas, conveniently located between Austin, San Marcos, and Bastrop. Once a fully operational farm, Camino has kept many of the unique features of the 6-acre farm....but with a modern desert twist. Palm trees, agave, and Mexican sage echo Baja California tucked away in the Lone Star State’s countryside. Ideal for those seeking something a little different, this site can play host to the wedding you’ve always dreamed of. With several indoor and outdoor facilities, couples have endless possibilities to coordinate their incredible event at this expansive property.

Facilities and Capacity

The Greenhouse is a stunning 3,400 square foot oasis that makes for memorable ceremonies and receptions. This event space is decorated with wagon-wheel chandeliers and a wall of vintage windows that boast views of the nearby pond and grove of mesquite trees. There is no shortage of beautiful plant-life and diffused natural light. The Greenhouse can be configured in many ways and can accommodate up to 200 guests for a seated dinner or 250 for ceremony or cocktail.

The Quonset Hut is a two-story event space that is great for cocktail hours and intimate receptions that run long into the night. This 1,900 square foot area includes front and back patio spaces accessed via large glass garage doors, perfect for overflow and mingling. This indoor/outdoor space features high ceilings and a rod-iron spiral staircase leading to an intimate loft area. The oversized fish-trap basket lights add a romantic ambiance to the space. The Quonset Hut is fully air-conditioned and includes two restrooms and a prep kitchen for catering.

For those seeking to make the most of the gorgeous Texan sunshine, the large property pond can serve as backdrop for a private ceremony perfectly framed by two arched mesquite trees. As the sun glistens off the water, couples can exchange vows nestled in nature in the company of family members and close friends.

Tenting or a traditional tipi can be erected for outdoor receptions on our 20’ diameter concrete tipi terrace or in our landscaped courtyard defined with romantic bistro lighting. This cool cozy space has ample room for a bar, seating area, or a guest activation. For those looking for a unique ceremony configuration, a circular or spiral ceremony site can be set up around our circular tipi terrace.

Before the big moment arrives, the wedding parties can prepare and relax in our charming renovated 1940’s farmhouse. Complete with a kitchen and full bathroom, the house is a serene space to unwind before the big walk down the aisle.

Additional facilities include the large gazebo and rustic open barn area. These event spaces can be used for post-ceremony photo sessions, a place for kids to escape to, quaint ceremonies, or pop-up dance parties.

An on-site venue manager will be on-hand to ensure that every fine detail is addressed before your big day. They can provide you with an extensive list of trusted vendors who have previously worked at Camino Real Ranch but are also open vendor, allowing you to work with the vendors of your choosing. Food trucks are welcome and encouraged. You are also welcome to pre-wedding venue walkthroughs to help you envision your celebration.
