About Us

Reut Ben-Zeev is a cantor who has been officiating life-cycle events for over 20 years, primarily in the New York area. Cantor Ben-Zeev works with couples to create a personal and meaningful ceremony that is authentic to the two of you. She meets with each couple several times before the wedding to develop a personal relationship so that she can talk about your uniqueness during the ceremony. Reut also takes care to review and understand with you as a couple what each part of the ceremony is about, while incorporating your vision to tailor it to be authentic you. Being also a professional classical singer specializing in Jewish music, cantor Ben-Zeev uses her vocal training to create a spiritual, heartfelt atmosphere during the ceremony. Growing up in Israel, she developed a natural love and affinity for Hebrew and Jewish texts which has led her to working as a cantor in different synagogues as well as a wedding officiant.

Cantor Ben-Ze'ev has served the Jewish community for over 20 years, officiating many weddings and lifecycle events. Re'ut is also a professional classical singer, performing in venues as Lincoln Center, with The New York Philharmonic ensembles and on the soundtrack of Natalie Portman's directorial debut film: A Tale of Love and Darkness. Re'ut served as cantor at congregation Beit Simchat Torah in Manhattan, Temple Shalom, Naples Florida among others.
