Charleston Sky is a classic farm wedding venue based in Cooper, Texas. With a true country atmosphere, this is the perfect location for your wedding if you are searching for a beautiful barn-style venue. They understand this is one of the most important days of your life and will work with you every step of the way leading up to your special day.

Facilities and Capacities
Charleston Sky can host up to 250 people. The venue can host both your ceremony and reception, providing you with the convenience of having your entire wedding day and night take place at the same location. With cattle and horses nearby, couples will be surrounded by over 4 acres of manicured grounds. Your ceremony will take place at their gorgeous waterfront location. Couples can say “I do” under the venue’s rustic gazebo featuring a sparkling chandelier and lake as the backdrop. The 5,000-square-foot, climate-controlled barn offers a country-style space for your reception. Wood panelled walls, high ceilings, a crystal chandelier and two cascading hardwood staircases are a few highlights that add to the beauty of the venue. There are plenty of picturesque locations for your wedding photos, including a number of one-of-a-kind options such as their antique tractor and truck. Two built-in bars and a large preparation kitchen complete the space.

  • The venue is perfect, but the manager was very rude on my wedding day. She was very nice & professional up until then. The day of my wedding she expected me to get on my hands & knees while in my wedding dress to clean up water, she actually yelled at me, saw my vail was twisted & instead of untwisting it carefully due to it already being in my hair she proceeds to sling it around like she’s playing jump rope with it, when i yelled in pain she said “Oh shit.” under her breath. As if that wasn’t bad enough she gave my bridesmaids (one of which was my 14 year old daughter) nasty looks over stupid rose pellets inside on the floor creating a receiving line for our guests so we could great them. In the contract it states & they stress we HAD to have a police officer present for our wedding & they include the officer in the price of the venue. Yeah, our officer that we PAID FOR was NOT present for the wedding. We were NOT refunded for this either. I will only recommend the venue ... Read more

    As a wedding manager attention to detail is priority # 1 for every wedding. When Carol noticed the galvanized tubs full of drinks was leaking water she immediately spoke with the father of the groom to advise him this was a slip hazard for guests and it needed to be changed over to our cooler which does not leak, and they chose not to do anything. Instead the wedding party wanted to place towels around the base of the tubs. (not a great look) When Carol noticed the veil on the bride was tangled she attempted to assist in helping the bride look her best before she walked down the aisle. During this de tangling event the veil was in such disarray it took a short time to get it fixed. None of the bridal party offered to help with this issue, and the veil was attached to the brides hair so if hair was pulled it was inadvertently done. We always go above and beyond to assist in every facet of a brides big day. The bride requested silk rose petals on the floor during her entrance which Carol allowed. Afterwards Carol began to sweep up the rose petals from the floor due this being a serious slip hazard. THE BRIDE WAS NEVER ASKED TO DO ANY OF THIS. A police officer being present is mandatory for our events, and the fact you did not see him or recognize him dressed incognito only reinforces the fact we did our job.
