A one-of-a-kind wedding venue in Orange County, California, Charter Yachts of Newport Beach provides a private and elegant affair that you and your guests will cherish forever. Facilities and Capacity
While Charter Yachts has three different options, the Icon is primarily used for weddings. It is a 120-foot private yacht that accommodates up to 140 guests. This yacht features exotic wood, granite, marble, glass murals and designer walls. The upper deck transforms into a full-service bar, perfect for dancing and mingling, while the main deck is used for formal dining and seating. Other beautiful amenities include a grand piano, marble fireplace and entertainment center. You and your guests can enjoy the picturesque views from multiple parts of the yacht. In addition to the yacht itself, as you and your guests await its arrival, you can spend an hour in the beautiful waterfront lounge. This private yacht club offers cocktails, a romantic fireplace and covered patio with sofas, with stunning views for you to enjoy before hopping on the Icon.

Services Offered
Your wedding on the Icon will feature a four-hour cruise, inclusive of insurance, fuel, docking and city permits. Couples will also have access to professional and experienced wedding coordinators who will assist you from the initial meeting through the day itself. For the big day, Charter Yachts of Newport Beach aims to make everything perfect by providing a variety of event services, including:

Understanding that food is very important in creating your perfect wedding, Charter Yachts of Newport Beach offers a variety of menus and cuisine styles for your special day. This allows you to personalize the menu to meet your budget. This includes the Bay Island menu, Lido Isle menu and Balboa Island menu, which include menu selections like bowtie chicken alfredo, chicken florentine, Icon’s California chicken, oven roasted salmon, pork loin and more. There is also the option for a themed menu, like a Mexican, Mediterranean or Indian menu. Finally, catering at this venue also includes options for stationed appetizers, hors d’oeuvres and desserts.

  • Had bday party for my son. Paid total of $11000 for 70 people.prepaid for 20 parking spots. Never was told that it was somewhere other than parking lot next to boat. Found out when guests were late to party trying to find a parking place. We, the hosts had to go out front and wave everyone down in our formal wear. Everything else was ok. Just make sure that you let your guests know to park across the street and down 3 doors or you'll be out on Coast Hwy directing your guests after the fact. Also the prepaid parking is on a first come first serve. They will sell it to you under the premise of you being able to hand passes to your family..... Not so

    Hello Kelly, I am the owner of the CYNB and wanted to thank you for taking the time to write your email. I can understand your frustration with the parking and am not sure where the disconnect happened. On our website we offer two maps, one for events and one for appointments due guests needing the information of needing to know where to park when they come for an event. The parking lot map that also contains the actual address to the parking should also have been provided to you for you to include in your invitations so that there would not be any confusion. An hour prior to boarding, which is when guests begin arriving, I have a crewman tend to the front entrance of the parking lot to assist the guests as to where to park as well as how to cross PCH and where the yacht is docked. I see that Josh was the one scheduled to work the parking lot that evening and will follow up that he is doing what he needs to do when overseeing that responsibility. I completely agree with the top of the cake situation as well. The top often gets saved for weddings but would not be necessary for it to be done for a birthday. Not exactly sure what there reasoning was for it other than it was not needed but regardless will have a discussion with the staff as well. I hope you enjoyed your time on board and am sorry that these are the lasting memories of your event.
