Dessert Works is a wedding bakery located in Westwood, Massachusetts. Kristen Repa, the owner and head pastry chef, uses natural, high-quality ingredients with no artificial flavoring to craft personalized cakes for a couple's celebration. Specializing in European torte-style cakes finished in vanilla meringue buttercream frosting, Kristen works with couples to design cakes that coordinate with a couple's colors, theme, and wedding look. Kristen and her team are also skilled in frosting and design, offering buttercream flowers, fresh flowers, rolled chocolate, and their signature handmade chocolate butterflies.
Experience
Kristen Repa worked at Konditor Meister Bakery and Ritz Carlton Boston before traveling to Vienna, Austria to receive additional culinary arts training. She also worked as the pastry chef at The Catered Affair in Hingham, Massachusetts, where she created cakes and desserts for some notable celebrities, such as President Bill Clinton, Aerosmith’s Joe Perry, and the Kennedy family. Kristen founded Dessert Works in 2001 with her husband and business partner, Leonardo Savona.
