About Us

The DoubleTree by Hilton Raleigh-Brownstone-University is a hotel with a ballroom where couples can enjoy their wedding in the Raleigh, North Carolina region. This venue’s ballrooms are the perfect combination of classic and modern, with carpeting, recessed lights and room dividers, as well as unique semi-circle architecture on some of the ceilings. This hotel is located 12 minutes from the North Carolina Museum of Art.

Facilities and Capacity
Couples can max out their guest lists at 500 friends and family when they host their wedding at the DoubleTree by Hilton Raleigh-Brownstone-University. The Presidential Ballroom is the largest space in this venue, ready to accommodate all of the guests for a seated dinner and dancing. This room, with a neutral color palette for decorating and wallpaper and carpeting for class, can be divided into smaller rooms for more intimate receptions, out-of-sight spaces, or numerous events. This allows couples to set up for their ceremony and reception in one location. Other great locations for these events include the hotel’s Harvest Grille or the grand Caucus Room, capable of seating up to 170 guests for a banquet dinner.

Not only can couples host their ceremony and reception at this wedding venue, they can also host a bridal shower or engagement party on this property. Guests will remember the fun of the wedding day, but also the convenience of having onsite parking and overnight accommodations.     • Doubletree offers an all inclusive package which is very nice! The additions that come with the package (chairs, chair sleeves, linens,etc) were cost effective. The only downfall is the taxes that are applied. My experience was good for the most part, the only issue that happened at my wedding was they gave the bridal suite to another bride. They did end of giving me another suite with a connecting room. It worked out but then staff seemed very clueless on the agreements discussed with other staff members. It is a nice place to host wedding and reception!
