In 2022 Greystone Hall will celebrate 30 years of weddings. To mark this event we will invite our past couples back (as we have every 5 years) for a ball to celebrate. In 1907, the estate was built for Philip M. Sharples, philanthropist, a dairy farmer, inventor, and manufacturer. The mansion was designed by Philadelphia architect Charles Barton Keen. PM Sharples and his family lived at the estate until 1932. After his properties foreclosed during the Great Depression, the Sharples' moved to Passadena, California.
In 1942, Aram K. Jerrehian bought Greystone and the estate, where several generations of family have, and currently, live. Greystone Hall was opened as a wedding bussiness by daughter, Velda Jerrehian Moog, in 1990; our first wedding was in 1991. The family will celebrate 80 years at Greystone Hall in 2022.
