About Us

Harmony Hall Estate is a wedding venue in Middletown, Pennsylvania. This lovely 18-acre property has a long and storied history. It was first given to James Crouch by William Penn, the founder of the Pennsylvania Colony. Owner Karen Taylor purchased the estate in 1999; since then, Karen and her team have hosted thousands of weddings and events. They have made it their mission to make Harmony Hall Central Pennsylvania’s premier wedding destination. They have developed excellent working relationships with many of the area’s top vendors, and they have spent countless hours turning this wonderful woodland paradise into a premier multi-service wedding facility. Karen and her team invite you and your loved ones to come and discover all that Harmony Hall Estate has to offer.

Facilities and Capacity

Harmony Hall Estate has numerous indoor and outdoor ceremony and reception spaces. The old 18th-century farmhouse is now a fine multipurpose building with a charming two-story porch and enough space to seat up to 60 guests. It has a first-floor gathering area and a second-floor dressing suite that includes two private balconies, a dining room, and a fully-equipped salon area. The grand ballroom, located in the property’s main building, features a palate of warm, neutral tones, a beautiful hardwood floor, and gable windows that bathe the room in rich, natural light. Several outdoor areas are also available for use. The property also boasts a band stage, an outdoor lounge area, and numerous landscaping features, including a picturesque waterfall.

Harmony Hall Estate is a place where possibilities become realities. Whether your preferred style is black tie or rustic chic, Karen and her team can help you turn your wedding dreams into reality. Wedding package features include optional in-house catering, tables and chairs, a complimentary round-trip shuttle service, a honeymoon room in the Caribbean, and more. You are free to use any vendor you choose, and an on-site reception coordinator will be available to answer questions and provide guidance and assistance.

  • Let me start by saying you could not find a nicer or more professional group of people. Karen and Jill were by far the best two professional planners/owners I have ever met. After 30 years in the business I was very skeptical. Then Covid hit and Karen as well as Jill continued to re-assure us that as long as they were permitted to host a wedding we would be hosting ours. We never had the chance to do almost any of the normal things like cake/food tastings, tours, etc. I again was working on blind faith that the food and desserts would be up to standard and they far exceeded my expectations. Neil and Elyse two of the preferred vendors could not have been nicer or more accommodating, the staff was attentive and professional. I would highly recommend to anyone this venue, the preferred vendor suggestions and the Jill/Karen. You will not go wrong with this spot.
