Tatyana Shapiro-Leiste is a professional, conservatory-trained harpist from St. Petersburg Russia; devoted to the magic of the harp, delighting her audience with a varied and distinctive repertoire, including music from the Baroque, Classical and Romantic periods; traditional Hawaiian and Celtic melodies  and an expansive selection of contemporary favorites.

Tatyana enjoys a varied free-lance career playing for weddings, civil partnerships corporate events, recitals and orchestral work. Tatyana prides herself in delivering a high standard of performance, with impeccable presentation, whilst maintaining a reliable and friendly approach.

She proudly plays a Camac Athena concert harp which is considered to be a distinguished harp of exotic beauty, visually and audibly. An experienced recitalist and orchestral player she regularly performs for music societies, music festivals and at many other special events.

Tatyana has a number of outstanding experiences. She had a solo performance at the renowned Godunov Concert Hall in St. Petersburg and M. Glinka’s Capella Concert Hall Russia. She was the principal harpist with El Paso Opera Company and El Paso Symphony Orchestra. She was part of the World's largest harp touring ensemble “Harpfusion”.

She performed with the Flagstaff Symphony Orchestra, a Southern Arizona Symphony Orchestra, the Tulare County Symphony Orchestra, the Jewish Symphony Orchestra, Center Stage Opera in Los Angeles and the Huntington Beach Symphony Orchestra and the New Valley Symphony Orchestra.
