They also present a versatile event space, giving couples ample opportunity to craft the dream wedding day they've always pictured. With over 340 acres to play with, this sprawling resort provides plenty of entertainment and versatility. In order to provide the greatest convenience for their customers, this hotel allows for pre- and post-wedding events.

Facilities and Capacity
Couples may host up to thousands of wedding guests within the 11 event spaces at the Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay Resort. Indoor banquet spaces can be customized to fit any style and budget, while waterfront open-air pavilions can be used for ceremonies, brunches, or cocktail hours. There are two ballrooms, two pavilions, numerous meeting rooms, and other desirable spaces. If couples wish to have an outdoor event, they can hold a celebration on the Manor Lawn, at the Grand Fireplace Patio, or the Windjammer. A less conventional alternative is the Cambridge House, a freestanding cottage on the resort grounds. Up to 50 guests can fit in this unique location. For dinners, there are plenty of fresh, delectable options that couples can choose from. Packages may come with both food and drink selections.   • We originally had another coordinator assigned to us by the Hyatt. She is no longer with the company and unfortunately had to leave only a few months before our wedding. Not her fault. She's a doll and we totally understood the reason for her exit. But, we were assured that we were in good hands with a different coordinator, Kate, who has been there for upwards of 15 years. Working with her was immensely frustrating as she has poor communication skills, forgot both mine and my then fiancee's name even after having been corrected, lost our planning folder prior to a meeting that we traveled half way across the country for, always seemed "put off" when we had questions or needed to make changes, lost track of/forgot of answers to her was a hot mess.
