About Us

JuneBug is a an outdoor wedding venue located 12 minutes north of downtown Asheville that has been designed to be completely different than any other venue in the world!

Facilities and Capacity

Walnut Cove: There are two very different ceremony locations on this beautiful 50 acre property. Larger weddings are held in Walnut Cove alongside flat creek. This event space includes facilities for up to 200 guests. After the ceremony and reception, guests can spend the night in 1950's/60's restored campers, stroll through a field of beautiful flowers after grabbing a drink from the 1960 Airstream clam shell bar.

Ceremonies are held outdoors underneath a beautiful arbor. For receptions, JuneBug provides a double peak, high top and spacious tension tent featuring beautiful lighting and a dance floor. A 1953 Ford F500 works double duty as décor and as a stage for live music. Guests who want to explore can enjoy unique farm features such as two large fire pits and a vintage playground with a merry-go-round, dome, slide and swingset. A 900-square-foot Brazilian walnut deck serves as the perfect spot for your cocktail hour or as additional space.

Treehouse at JuneBug: Smaller weddings (up to 20 guests) take place high up in the treetops at the JuneBug treehouse. Where else can you have your micro wedding high up in the treetops? Only at JuneBug!

Your wedding is fully customizable to fit your style and your budget. You may choose your own vendors or use one of the many we have on our trusted vendor list. Regardless, we work closely with each of your vendors to insure that your day is stress free.

Services Offered

JuneBug Retro Resort offers venue rental for weddings and other social events. Choose from several all-inclusive rental packages and enjoy the option to bring in your own outside vendors to personalize your event. Their enthusiastic event staff will be on-site for your event, ensuring it runs smoothly. Event services offered include the following:

Accommodation

Their fleet of 10 fully restored vintage campers provide lodging for up to 30 guests. A tent camping area is also available for additional overnight guests. Choose between the following camper types:

JuneBug Retro Resort is an ideal location for hosting private parties of varying sizes. In addition to wedding ceremonies and receptions, this location can accommodate all of your wedding events, such as engagement parties, bridal showers and rehearsal dinners.   • We had our wedding at the JuneBug and it was picture perfect! Charlene was fantastic to work with and helped us through the process of having to reschedule from last October due to COVID. Planning an out of town wedding can be challenging but Charlene was a huge help and all of her vendor recommendations were spot on! You can tell that Tom and Charlene have put their hearts and souls into this amazing property and will bend over backwards to make sure their couples have a seamless wedding day. We had our first look in the treehouse and it made for such a special experience. All of our guest are still raving about this wonderful day!
