About Us

Lincolnshire Marriott Resort is a hotel hosting weddings in the Chicago, Illinois area. This classic venue sits on a beautiful property and provides a wide variety of sources for couples on their wedding day. Just 45 minutes north of downtown Chicago, this venue is a convenient getaway with overnight accommodations built right in.

Facilities and Capacity
This hotel venue hosts up to 700 wedding guests. Couples can marry outside among the property’s gardens. A large pond with a center fountain sits in front of the hotel, perfect for ceremonies or wedding portraits. For reception spaces or indoor ceremonies, couples can choose between the venue’s two ballrooms or three pavilions. The Grand Ballroom and the more intimate Great Lakes Ballroom feature stately decor. The Grand Marquee, Lakeside and Grove Pavilions feature scenic views of the hotel’s grounds and climate-controlled atmospheres for year-round weddings.

    • The beauty of this venue was only matched by the convenience that accompanied selecting the Lincolnshire Marriott. One major “need” for our wedding was making sure that there was as little travel involved for our guests as possible. Additionally, we wanted to have an outdoor ceremony. The Lincolnshire Marriott fulfilled both of these for us. They have several beautiful outdoor spaces as well as reception areas, allowing everything from pre-wedding pictures through the end of the night able to happen in one centralized location. They even automatically reserve an indoor space for the ceremony in case of inclement weather. The hotel rooms were great, too, which gave us ease of mind knowing that many of our guests were able to walk to their rooms at the end of the night. Our coordinator, Christine Donovan, was fantastic and a massive help.
