  • Stay as far away from Logistics by Linda as possible. We booked her after reading good reviews back in March and it was the worst decision we could have made for our wedding. She caused so many headaches and stressors the week of our wedding and was the only vendor that we absolutely would have been better without. Linda was very sweet and communicative initially, very responsive to emails, and easy to get a hold of. Around August we began to try and get in touch with her to finalize our timeline and this is where the issues arose. Linda started to talk us in circles, mix up or lose our files, and promise to get back to us with a timeline. We never got a timeline even after paying our final deposit. The week before the wedding I became extremely concerned and tried to push her to commit to a bus pickup schedule for our 56-person bus from two hotels.     This bride is suffering from Post Partum Wedding Planning she has nothing better to do then to complain. Very high maintenance and everything she is complaining about I can prove WRONG with emails and notes. I also have the invoices from 3 vendors that I paid to transport the guests. There was a wreck on the highway and we had to go to PLAN B to transport the guests because the shuttle was stuck on the highway. Even with using the alternative transportation - YES the were late but I called the hotels and gave them my information and told them to please keep the guests in the lobby. At the same time - I am texting the wedding planner and giving her updates. I worked the phones the entire night. And have my notes to prove it and have the names of the front desk folks I talked with along with phone numbers. BUT this is a good podium to let folks know when there is wreck or in the S/A area they have been working on Hwy 281 and on any given day they might close the highway down to 1 lane with no warning and YES there will be a delay. Because of the problems I experienced last fall - has driven me to start using a company that has off the chart technology. When the driver leaves the property - I receive a text with drivers name and phone number. There is also an app that I can click on that tracks exactly where the driver is. This company has 24 hr dispatch which is very rare and a back up policy in place in case of situations like this one. These are all things I learned the HARD way. All the drivers are given the day of coordinators name and contact # and they text her when they arrive and ask where to stage and when to pull up. All this young lady is trying to do is ruin my reputation and has even contacted some of my venues who have defended me and told her I have always been Trust Worthy, responsible and professional. When dealing with mechanics/vehicles there will be problems and delays ~ think airports. These are things beyond my control. But I can PROVE that I did the best to my ability to coordinate the event but we had circumstances beyond our control and in the contract it states this could happen as well as Forces of Nature - that we cannot control. I am sorry for the inconvenience this caused but I did the best I could under the circumstances.
