About Us
I come from a food family. In my family, recipes are our heirlooms. Growing up, I lived on a small family farm where we raised our own livestock, eggs and poultry, grew our own fruits and vegetables, and we were in constant contact with the foods of the seasons.
At fifteen I was given the opportunity to travel to France where I was changed forever by what I ate. It was no surprise that I looked for work in the culinary field when I returned home. Once I entered the field, I found peace in the ritual of preparation, and in the fast pace of the professional kitchen. I knew I had found my place in the world.
The bulk of my working experience has been in the San Francisco Bay Area where I discovered catering. I worked for many well known and lesser known catering companies, eventually settling as an Executive Chef for Savoy Catering.
In 2008 I began Lunch Lady Catering with upscale boxed lunches serving the Calaveras foothills. It wasn't long, however, before I returned to my true love, full scale event catering, specializing in weddings. It is my pleasure to help you create your special day and make it a delicious one!
