Melrose Knitting Mill is a chic, urban wedding venue based in downtown Raleigh, North Carolina. The space is elegant and historic, lending an amazing vintage atmosphere for a city celebration. For couples that crave an open floor plan, surrounded by sophisticated history and subtle industrial touches, Melrose Knitting Mill is a dream.

The unique wedding venue includes a spacious banquet hall with exposed brick, wooden floors and twinkling chandeliers. Downstairs, in our outdoor cocktail hour space, guests can mingle on the stylish patio adorned with vines and assorted greenery. Melrose Knitting Mill can comfortably host up to 180 guests. Ad added bonus at a Downtown location: onsite parking allows you and your guests to park with ease!

Melrose Knitting Mill has group of experienced wedding planners onsite to help you plan and excetute your perfect day. Our event planning packages range from Day of Coordination to Ful Service Packages, with custom packages available in between.

Having onsite catering, available china, silverware and glassware and a wide range of catering styles allows you to customize your wedding food and beverage, without hassle.   • I got married at Melrose Knitting Mill in October of 2020 and started the process back in February (yes, pre-COVID).  From the moment my fiance and I toured Melrose, we knew it was the place we wanted to get married immediately!  Once we booked, we were connected with Blake Morrin as our coordinator, and who I would soon learn to be a great friend and an absolute lifesaver!  As everyone knows, COVID rocked our world and countless weddings have been postponed or canceled.  Throughout the months leading up to the wedding, it was clear to us that it would still be around for our wedding.  It was an extremely challenging time trying to plan our wedding with all of the uncertainty but with the HUGE help of Blake (and Phase 3), we were able to have the wedding of our dreams!  They were so accomodating and even thought of a Plan B for us if we were unable to have our wedding as originally planned.  Blake was always there for me day and night, no matter the number of questions I had, ...
