At Nemacolin Woodlands Resort, we provide amazing settings for special days in anyone’s life, from engagement parties and weddings to rehearsal dinners, farewell breakfasts, birthdays and social gatherings. With an abundance of indoor and outdoor venues perfect for any aspect of a wedding couple's wedding experience, our wedding experts will help you create your own fairy tale right in the Laurel Highlands. From intimate gatherings and casual luncheons to more formal dinners, our team of wedding experts can help you pick the perfect location, decor and menus.

We encourage you and your guests to take advantage of the many amenities Nemacolin has to offer. From off-road driving, animal safaris and zip lines to fine-dining, spa treatments and golf, the only thing missing is the ocean... but we are working on that! The vision and dream have been realized, so we strive each day to bring something new - something fresh - to your experience. And if there is anything we can do to be of additional service, please ask.

We love collaborating with outside planners. To make the planning process seamless, we do require that you hire a Professional Wedding Planner to assist with the wedding planning, timelines, and vendors. We can certainly provide a vendor recommendation list. All planners and vendors must be approved by our Nemacolin Wedding Professional.

Wedding Services Offered
Nemacolin Woodlands Resort is a full-service wedding venue our Catering Sales Manager's services include:

PRE WEDDING:

  • Provide a personalized tour of the venue, create your event and Nemacolin wedding room block contract
  • Arrange & attend your menu tasting roughly 4-6 months prior to wedding date (Wedding Tastings are provided to Weddings that contract 100 guests or more)
  • Act as a menu consultant for all food & beverage selections, offer upgrades and provide pricing. Provides group rates for wedding room blocks and can arrange group activities and dining at Nemacolin Woodlands Resort.
  • Create your banquet event orders (BEOs), outlining all of your event specifics, and ensure that it is communicated to the venue's operational team. You must sign these orders to confirm accuracy.
  • Work with your planner to create a floor plan of your function space in order for you to provide seating arrangements.

WEDDING DAY:

  • Oversee the ceremony and reception set ups, check with the chef on food preparations; provide signange for your arriving guests, and other venue operations.
  • Act as the onsite liaison between your wedding planner and venue operations / staff on wedding day.
  • Ensure communication of your event specifics to the venue's banquet captain for the evening. This captain will remain with your planner throughout the night. Your Catering Manager will depart by 7pm.
  • Review your billing for accuracy, and process final invoice

  • This is a luxury resort and they provide nothing but that! Christina was our wedding planner and she was amazing and she gave us the perfect day I will never forget. We have been told by so many guests how smooth our wedding was. There was not one bit of stress on that day and not one thing was out of place....and if it was, I hadn't noticed! Their food is amazing and they also take care of the alcohol, cake, and desserts! We already ate our anniversary cake because it was so delicious and we decided to go back for our anniversary and have them make us another one! We even got to ride around in a Rolls-Royce for our photography session around the resort. My husband is a car lover which they knew and wanted to make it special for him, too! Our guests raved about how well they were treated by ALL of the staff members and we truly felt like royalty the entire weekend. I would relive that day a million times over again!
