Elizabeth Gil, owner, began as a chef in the early 90’s. Her passion for baking led her to attend the prestigious California Culinary Academy. Her ensuing pastry position at the Four Seasons Seattle allowed her to immerse herself in practical baking, ready to return to the Bay Area in 2013.
All cakes and desserts from Renaissance Specialty Cakes and Dessert are handcrafted with ingredients that are local, seasonal, and organic whenever possible. Examples of these are high-quality cocoa, domestic, and European chocolates, and luscious Italian meringue buttercream. Customized flavor combinations are welcome.
