I was ordained as a Unitarian Universalist minister in 1998, and have performed weddings for members of my congregations, friends, family, and newcomers ever since.
I meet with the couple to learn more about them personally, and together we craft a ceremony that is right for the marriage they are creating. We talk about how you met, your family, your friends, and what you imagine when you think of a wedding. I provide each couple with a booklet of materials to inspire their thinking about what is important to you in a wedding, and create a custom ceremony incorporating your requests and what I have learned about you.
Couples find it reassuring to have a professional supporting them on their wedding day, someone who has plenty of experience with unexpected emotions and last minute surprises, someone steady and caring guiding you through the momentous moment when you say "I do."
