About Us

Rigmor House is a rustic, yet elegant wedding venue located in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. They're easily accessible to your guests from both the Triangle and Triad areas. They offer multiple indoor and outdoor sites for your rehearsal dinner, ceremony and reception. Rigmor House prides themselves on their overnight accommodations, private, wooded setting and spacious event center.

Facilities and Capacity
Couples can accommodate up to 225 guests at this country venue. For your reception, you can celebrate in their Main Room. This unique space is close to 1,700 square feet, and features ambient lighting, tongue and groove pine walls and a two-story ceiling with a loft overlook. The space is carpeted with dance floor options available, and boasts a projector, large screen, six-speaker surround sound and hookups for all your audio/visual needs. Your guests will enjoy gorgeous views of the surrounding landscape as you dance the night away. It also features a screened-in porch and deck, perfect for cocktail hour. For your ceremony, you can exchange your vows underneath a romantic arch with beautiful flowers and trees surrounding you.

Services Offered
This award-winning venue has been a part of the wedding industry for over 13 years. There’s an on-site bridal suite you can start your day in, as well as complimentary parking for your guests. Tables and chairs are included in your rental fee, along with lighting and sound. Your caterer will have access to their full kitchen, and wireless Internet is available throughout. Accommodation
Rigmor House offers five bedroom suites and three queen sleeper sofas for you and your guests to stay in. Linens and towels are provided, as well as private baths. The sleeper sofas share a bathroom in the open loft.

  • If I could give this venue more than 5 stars I would. This venue was everything that my husband and I were looking for!!!! From the layout of the grounds, to the kitchen and everything in between! The owner is super friendly and professional. He answered all of our questions in a very timely manner. He continuously reassured my husband and I that everything was on track for our wedding in September 2020 after booking in January 2020 (before the coronavirus hit and even after it hit). Everything was perfect and I couldn't have asked for a better venue for our wedding. He is very flexible when it comes to letting you visit the grounds.
