About Us

Royal Melbourne Country Club is a unique wedding venue in Long Grove, Illinois. This classic venue offers a comfortable and relaxed environment for a variety of events, including weddings, bridal showers, engagement parties, corporate events and more. With beautiful views of the prairie-wetlands, ponds and golf-courses, this venue is sure to provide a picturesque backdrop and wonderful feel for your wedding or special event.

Facilities and Capacity
The Grand Ballroom is 4,000 square feet, with elegant french doors and a private outdoor veranda, and can hold groups of up to 220 people. The Royal Room is 1,200 square feet, connects directly to the grand ballroom and is great for receptions and pre-function needs.

Services Offered
Royal Melbourne Country Club helps create personal wedding packages to fit the needs, budget and vision of each unique couple. This venue offers event planning services, can assist with setup/and cleanup of the event and has a bridal suite available.

    • The Royal Melbourne was a dream to work with during a nightmare of a year! Getting married in 2020 was not easy...there were many difficult decisions to make and changes that needed to be done in order to have our special day, and through it all Kim and the Royal Melbourne were there for us! So flexible, so accommodating, and so KIND! Through postponements, drastic guest list cuts, and safety procedures, they made sure everything was perfect for the big day. We were able to have our 50 person wedding and feel completely safe...while having a blast! Kim is a pro...everything was set for the day perfectly, and you can tell she has a lot of experience! The food was great, the room beautiful, and the staff friendly. With all the changes COVID forced us to make, I'm so so so happy that changing our venue wasn't one of them.
