About Us

There’s a reason this area is called Paradise Valley. It’s breathtaking natural beauty creates a romantic and serene backdrop for an unforgettable wedding. Whether your vision is charming and rustic, formal and elegant, or somewhere in between, our experienced team at Sage Lodge will work with you to make your destination wedding vision a reality. Our venue combines breathtaking natural landscapes with resort amenities to bring you and your guests the ultimate wedding getaway experience.

Guest Rooms and Event Spaces:

The splendor of our rural resort features 34 guestrooms in the main Lodge plus four standalone Ranch Houses. Each Ranch House includes four separate bedrooms, sleeping up to 16 guests total, along with a full kitchen, dining area, and living room, perfect for a family or wedding party.

Regardless of which Montana season you choose to celebrate, Sage Lodge and the surrounding Yellowstone ecosystem offer something for every sense of adventure. Relax in our full-service luxury spa, savor Montana-inspired dining in the Fireside Room, or enjoy the 1,200 acres on the property by hiking, biking, wildlife watching, fly fishing, and so much more.

Our most spacious indoor event space, the Yellowstone Room, offers breathtaking views through expansive windows overlooking Paradise Valley and cathedral-style ceilings for a lofty open-air feel. This room suits any theme, from a rustic celebration to an elegant black-tie affair. If a quintessential outdoor Montana experience is what you're after, couples have choices of two outdoor ceremony spaces. The Yellowstone Lawn is located adjacent to the Yellowstone Room and offers majestic views of the Absaroka Mountains and Yellowstone River, providing breathtaking natural beauty to your ceremony. The Wedding Field is a spacious and iconic ceremony location, featuring Emigrant Peak as a jaw-dropping backdrop for photos, along with views of the vast fields that surround the property. The various lawns on the property can be transformed into a private event space for your outdoor welcome reception, cocktail hour, or dining experience. Our smaller event spaces, such as the Private Dining Room and Library, lend themselves to a more intimate experience, great for elopements, rehearsal dinners, or smaller family affairs.

  • My husband and I got married in 2020, so like most couples in our situation, our wedding plans had to change pretty significantly. Two months prior to our big day, it became clear that having both of our families travel to us in Oregon would not be the best, nor the safest option and we scrambled to move our wedding closer to home in Montana. We feel so lucky that somehow our plan B ended up better than our plan A! Sage Lodge is gorgeous and our families had the most incredible time! We rented two ranch houses, one for the bridesmaids to get ready in and one for the groomsmen. They are gorgeous! The ceremony site is absolutely stunning and the Yellowstone room is gorgeous as well! We booked this venue site-unseen and let me just say- the beautiful photographs do not even do this place justice! And the food....SOOO... Read more
