About Us

Officiant Frank Harlan is currently available for Outdoor Weddings, Virtual Wedding Productions and Courthouse-style Elopements. Due to the active COVID-19 Pandemic, socially distanced smaller gatherings, some with "Virtual Guests" attending from their home has become very practical, and less of a novelty. Frank has the experience and resources to assist you in live streaming your wedding to family and friends who cannot, or are not ready to, travel cross-county or over the seas at this time.

Frank Harlan’s years of professional experience as a Wedding Officiant and Master of Ceremony for private and public events makes it easy for him to create a comfortable environment that relaxes brides and grooms and allows them to share a candid and emotional experience with their family and friends in attendance.

Since 2009, as a Secular Weddings Officiant and certified Humanist Celebrant, Frank Harlan has scripted and presided over hundreds of non-religious wedding ceremonies for couples of all genders (nearly 100 so far for his LGBTQ+ brothers, sisters and they). Frank knows that not all Officiants are created equal or work off the same rate card. He believes that every couple should find an Officiant they can connect with, someone who they are comfortable with being the voice of their Wedding Day Celebration.

Reviews and past wedding feedback is nice from couples who found their Officiant on this Website. However, for me, being a Wedding Officiant isn't a competition. More than 50% of my business is from referrals and couples who attended a wedding I presided over. From the reviews I have read almost every couple is very happy with the person they chose to presided over their wedding. So, take some time to read reviews and visit websites. Good luck in your search.

Message from Frank: "At the current time I am happy to travel anywhere in western Washington to preside over outdoor weddings with 50 or less guests through 2021. I am also offering complete Wedding Packages hosted at my small urban farm in Northeast Seattle. I am actively participating in CDC's COVID-19 Guidelines."

Just Price Shopping? My base fee for a Wedding Production in King and Snohomish Counties is $750, includes Rehearsal and 50-mile Travel Allowance. Elopements and Civil Unions a little less (at my Urban Farm in Seattle). I am Accepting Bookings through December 2021. Until further notice, I will not be booking or traveling to wedding productions outside of western Washington.

  • We love the energy and the enthusiasm you have since the first day we met Frank. We know that he was the ONE we're looking for to officiate on our wedding day. He has made our special day even more memorable! It was all perfect and what we wanted. We had a wonderful intimate and personal wedding ceremony and reception. I love how much he's hands-on on the day of the wedding. We are fortunate to have found you. Our guests also have commended you and your energy during our reception! We love how he made us and the guests sucked into that moment and just feel everything in with the personal notes!
