A rustic wedding venue located in the heart of Tunkhannock, Pennsylvania, Shadowbrook Resort welcomes couples for all special occasions. Surrounded by NEPA's scenic Endless Mountains, this venue offers the newly engaged a country club atmosphere with supporting onsite guestrooms. Boasting an award winning 18-hole golf course, porch swings on the pavilion, and stunning indoor spaces, we pride ourselves on our dedication to creating a celebration that is uniquely "you". Facilities and Capacity

On-site venue selections at Shadowbrook Resort provide couples both indoor and outdoor options for their ceremony, reception, engagement party, rehearsal dinner, departure brunch or bridal shower. The newly renovated grand ballroom can seat up to 275 guests, while a portable dance floor and bar allows couples a variety of options to customize the space. For couples who wish to take advantage of the beautiful scenery, the open-air pavilion and manicured golf course backdrop allow a romantic ceremony to flow into an outdoor reception under the stars. The Terrace adjoins the grand ballroom, where guests can enjoy a cocktail on the enclosed porch. Just outside the entrance to the grand ballroom is The Nook, an elegant indoor area perfect for your personalized guestbook, uniquely displayed table cards, guest favors or any additiona decor you wish to share on your special day. Guests are welcome to stay overnight in one of the venue’s 70 onsite hotel rooms. Complimentary, open parking for guests is available as is wheelchair access.

Customized menu selections can be discussed with the executive chef, including hot and cold hors d’oeuvres, sautee stations, carving stations, and main entrees. Couples can attend a tasting before their wedding, to sample their selections and go over any additional details. At the reception, the menu can be served as a buffet, with stations, or plated. Dessert is also an option, although the venue does allow couples to bring in a cake from an outside source. Bartenders can serve wine, beer, liquor, or signature cocktails from a couple’s choice of an open, cash, or limited bar.

  • Lauren, Andrea and their team were in the simplest terms, the absolute dream team. They took our wedding day and truly made it into the best day ever. We brought up our decor the Wednesday before the wedding and just wrote little notes about what belonged where, they did all of the decorating and it all came out beautiful. Our ceremony was in the pavilion with the lights hanging down, it was absolutely freezing but Lauren walked through rehearsal and then tried to keep it warm with heaters for us and our guests the day of the wedding. We decided on the stations package, the food was phenomenal and we’re still getting so many compliments on how delicious and how much each guest received. The staff was so personable and friendly. They were on the ball with everything and were very organized. Thank you for making our wedding such a success!!
