Surg on the Water is a banquet hall located in the beautiful historic Third Ward in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Overlooking the Milwalkee River, this venue hosts weddings indoors and outdoors, allowing guests to meander to the deck for the scenic view, to dance or for group photos.

Facilities and Capacity
Couples may host up to 250 wedding guests inside, including added space on the outside, wooden deck. Surg on the Water also offers a classy bar/lounge area for smaller parties. Elegant in style, this event space offers unique and memorable views, featuring a modern appeal with brick interiors, large windows and plush carpeting.

    • We had our ceremony and reception at SURG. We booked about a year and a half out. Andrea was great to work with and was flexible to our needs. We had a gorgeous day. Even so, the bartenders were rude to guests and charged folks for drinks even though we had open bar for family. The food servers were also not a joy to be around and were heard complaining about the night and their job. Overall, Andrea worked her a** off for us to have an amazing day. I just wish the workers at SURG would have made us feel the same way.
