Our large wedding was postponed due to COVID, so my mother suggested we use the inn spot for a small interim ceremony. Let me start by saying the food is wonderful and so is the wait staff. But ownership/ management needs work. We were treated with utter disdain from the start. For someone In The service industry, the owner seems to hate serving. Throughout the entire process, my fiancé and I were scared to ask any questions as each time we reached out to her, we were met with defensiveness and push back. As the day was looking pretty gloomy during the morning, the owner and I discussed rain plans. We decided that around 4 if it was still raining, we would do the ceremony under the tent we rented and if it stopped, it would be set up outside in front of the water. By some grace of god, the rain cleared by about 3:00 and we were so relieved for such a gorgeous day.
