Facilities and Capacity

Hotel Sorrento is ready to accommodate wedding parties of up to 130 guests* for an intimate and memorable weekend at our historic property.

  • Top of the Town Ballroom: Perfect for a night of dinner and dancing, the Top of Town ballroom overlooks the Seattle cityscape for a striking backdrop for exchanging vows in an historic space with an elegant dome and architectural accents.
  • The 7th Floor Penthouse: adjacent to the Top of the Town Ballroom, our 7th floor Penthouse is one of few outdoor rooftop venues in Seattle, featuring a vintage fireplace, private bar and grand piano. Think blue-sky champagne toasts, pastel sunset photos, dancing under the stars and dazzling cityscapes
  • Sorrento Room: Host a late-night cocktail hour, create a "kids room," or whatever your heart desires in an old-world African Mahoganey wood-wrapped intimate space, overlooking Seattle's cityscape.
  • The Juliet Suite: Our very special wedding night suite for couples, suite with a balconey overlooking The Garden! Complimentary with most wedding packages.
  • 7th Floor Suites: Covienently located on the same floor as the Top of the Town and Penthouse, three spacious guest room suites for getting ready, afternoon tea for the bridal party, groomsmen gatherings, are available for use! All are included in most wedding packages.
  • Fireside Room: Our famed octagon-shaped room, known for silent reading parties, endless nights of jazz music, and literary gatheirngs since 1909. Host your intimate ceremony or reception, and be part of our famed history.
  • The Garden: Our seasonal outdoor dining and drinking venue, perfect for an intimate ceremony and/or reception, complete with garden lights, a fire pit, and open-air seating.
  • Dunbar Room: Our on-site, full-service restaurant with jazz brunch on the weekend, happy hour, upscale happy hour, and a seasonal menu for your wedding party to enjoy.
  • Cloakroom: A semi-private dining room, enclosed by a velvet curtain for day-after brunch, rehearsal dinners, and other culinary celebrations.
  • Madison Room: Host a post-wedding day brunch or use this room to get ready in for an off-site wedding at St. James Cathedral!
  • Ravello Room: Connected to our Madison Room, this additional space works perfectly for intimate gatherings, get-ready rooms, or food service.

Hotel Sorrento has 76 guest rooms, 42 of which are suites, each with their own distinctive style and original details for a vintage look and a feeling of comfortable elegance that can be reserved for your wedding party. Booking a room block of suites for out of town guests, or someone who simply wants to take the elevator home has been a loved tradition for weddings over the years!
