About Us

The Stone Quartet offers musical services of all kinds for weddings and/or special occasions in the tri-state area.  They feature a professional string quartet but also offer other string ensembles, pianists, and vocalists.  Their repertoire is extensive, including music from the Classical, Baroque, Romantic, and Contemporary eras.  Do you need a unique song arranged for your first dance or processional? The Stone Quartet also arranges their own music for songs that have not been arranged for string instruments.  Some of these arrangements have included Coldplay’s “Viva La Vida,” Rihanna’s “Diamond,” and Bruno Mars’ “Just the Way You Are.” Also, The Stone Quartet has a wide variety of bluegrass music.  The members of the quartet have played together for 5 years and have performed at many weddings/venues from Philadelphia to West Virginia.  They are dedicated to making your wedding/special event something to remember for years to come.

If you choose to have singers, make sure they are experienced and practice on their own so that they can learn quickly the night before during rehearsal. It worked out thankfully and Stone actually added a third member free of charge, which we appreciated. Ove... Read more
