About Us

Resting upon the majestic slopes of Mt.Hood National Forest, Timberline Lodge a storied venue welcoming weddings in Government Camp, Oregon. Its adjoining ski-slopes propose a weekend get-away for couples who desire a wedding celebration that combines elegance and natural beauty with a sense of adventure.

Facilities and Capacity

Dedicated by President Franklin. D. Roosevelt in 1937, Timberline Lodge is an Oregonian icon and national historic landmark. The building’s hexagonal facade has starred on the silver screen and was designed to be harmonious with its environment, utilizing boulders from the surrounding area. Inside couples will find an artisanal interior, with handcrafted details such as carved wooden paneling, murals, and glass mosaics throughout. The lodge hosts numerous venues congenial to a spectacular wedding celebration. Couples can exchange vows in the grounds’ amphitheater, surrounded by stunning vistas and the scent of blooming wildflowers. As the sun dips beneath the crests of the far off mountains, the wedding party can retreat to the warm comfort of the Ullman Hall. This spacious setting can accommodate up to 200 loved ones and features bespoke lighting fixtures, wide windows, and an adjoining patio. Elsewhere in the lodge, the Raven’s Nest provides an exceptional indoor ceremony site. Its vaulted wooden ceiling creates a sense of space that is filled by natural light shining down from its expansive windows. The effect is at once light and airy, yet also warm and personal. Couples planning an intimate ceremony may wish to avail of the separate Silcox Hut, located a mile further up the mountain. The lodge’s most popular venue, the hut is a private retreat whose confines are rendered cozy by warm timber framing and exposed stonework. Guests can relax next to the roaring fire of the hearth, and listen to the snow whip at the windows without. There are many more options available for weddings of all scales, and the property can provide furniture rental for events.

  • Everything was perfect, and everyone, down to the servers in the restaurants made our wedding weekend spectacular. They were willing to help me make a couple of slight changes right up to the moment we got married, and I couldn't have been happier. Many of my guests remarked that it was the best wedding they'd ever been to. It was easy because they did essentially everything for us - catering, decorating, table arranging, etc. We basically just had to show up. I also organized a day of skiing the next day for our guests, and working with the lodge was easy as well. Timberline has always been our home away from home in the winter, and now they're like a part of our family. Highly recommend.
