About Us

A storybook wedding calls for a storybook location. Timberline Lodge has it all—breathtaking views, rustic charm, exquisite food and drink, not to mention cozy accommodations for you and all your guests in a one-of-a-kind alpine lodge. Out on the mountain or inside the lodge—the choice is yours. We’ll help you plan the perfect Mt Hood wedding, customizing a location to meet your specific needs.

Timberline has many outdoor wedding venues and unique indoor spaces. Built by hand to withstand the ages, the Historic Lodge provides the perfect foundation for your special day. Whether you want to be inside, outside, or a little of both - your options are always open at Timberline!

At 6,000 feet above sea level, your wedding will provide breathtaking views for you and your guests, and a sense of place and time unmatched by any other location in Oregon. Timberline is a special place —named a National Historic Landmark in 1974 and still operating today as a ski lodge, it is perhaps the most unique venue in the Pacific Northwest.

Our dedicated wedding specialists will ensure Timberline lives up to its reputation. A perfect event is your expectation, and your happiness is our goal. We understand the importance of even the smallest details, and we pride ourselves on helping you stay true to the vision of your most special day. We strive to deliver flawless service, so all you have left to do is relax and revel in every precious moment.

Treat your guests to an elegantly rustic lodging experience with historical significance. Timberline Lodge has 70 guest rooms, a 4-season heated outdoor pool and spa, sauna and gym. Built in 1937 as part of President Roosevelt’s Works Progress Administration (WPA), each room is furnished in its original style with upgraded amenities to ensure guests comfort. Our large fireplace rooms are perfect for the bride and groom—providing ample space to get ready for your special day.

You won’t have to settle for trail mix and berries—the Timberline culinary team will create the perfect menu for your wedding. Our award winning executive chef—Jason Stoller Smith—has over 15 years experience creating delectable menus that are as flavorful as they are memorable. Enjoy Northwest Alpine Cuisine—featuring fresh, seasonal, and locally harvested foods. We’ll work with you to create a menu that perfectly fits your needs.

There are many moving parts to a wedding, and we have vendor relationships to take care of each one. From menu creation, to photography, room decor, flowers and music options—we have a long list of trusted vendors for your review and choosing. And we are also absolutely content to work with any vendor you bring to us.

Quality of Service:

  • Flexibility:
  • Everything was perfect, and everyone, down to the servers in the restaurants made our wedding weekend spectacular. They were willing to help me make a couple of slight changes right up to the moment we got married, and I couldn't have been happier. Many of my guests remarked that it was the best wedding they'd ever been to. It was easy because they did essentially everything for us - catering, decorating, table arranging, etc. We basically just had to show up. I also organized a day of skiing the next day for our guests, and working with the lodge was easy as well. Timberline has always been our home away from home in the winter, and now they're like a part of our family. Highly recommend.
