About Us

Belvedere & Co. Events is a wedding and events venue located in Baltimore, Maryland. Hosting your event at this location means that you are joining US presidents, foreign dignitaries, and society’s elite as patrons of this former hotel. This venue’s collection of upscale spaces provides couples with ample options to help their ideas come to life.

Facilities and Capacity

Belvedere & Co. Events allows couples to choose their event space based on their style preferences. The venue’s opulent ballrooms provide a contrast to the world outside. Gilded details shine throughout the rooms, defining doorways, arches, and alcoves. Large mirrors and marble columns provide a sense of grandeur while soft lighting creates a comfortable and warm feel. For couples who are in search of a chic city vibe, the 13th Floor offers unrestricted views of Baltimore City. This space successfully blends the building’s history with contemporary design and finishes. Steel beams provide the room with character while a geometric, drop ceiling makes it feel intimate enough for smaller gatherings. The Owl Bar is another space to hold your special event. Gothic revival meets turn of the century speakeasy in this pub-style venue. The eclectic decor gives this space a personality of its own. The bar’s architectural details such as exposed brick, coffered ceilings, and stained-glass windows provide a sense of depth and sophistication.

Services Provided

This facility makes planning easy with a list of services that are associated with all of their wedding packages. They provide couples with a dedicated planning team who can assist with creating a custom floor plan, guide catering operations, and manage vendor selections. This team is happy to host tours of the venue when needed throughout the planning process. Day-of coordination is available in order to keep your day running flawlessly. A number of rental items are also included in your wedding package. Banquet tables and chairs, china, glassware, and table linens are just some of these items. Beyond your wedding day, this team would be happy to host your engagement party, wedding shower, or rehearsal dinner.


When this building was built in 1903 it had two distinctions, Baltimore’s first luxury hotel and Baltimore’s tallest building. At this time it was called the Belvedere Hotel and served as upscale accommodation for society’s elite throughout the first half of the 20th century. The hotel is named after an estate owned by General John Eager Howard, which was less than a block away.

  • We have booked our wedding in January 2021 with the Belvedere. We are worried that Covid-19 might have a resurgence and cancel or affect the wedding. We asked the Belvedere what their policy is regarding Covid-19 so we can gather information and make an informed decision regarding the wedding and they have no specific policy. Instead they use an existing policy called Force Majeure that the pandemic falls in to. However, when we spoke to the supervisor to ask for clarification about the Force Majeure policy to make sure we understood the policy, she admitted she doesn’t even understand the Force Majeure policy and she offered no further explanation than what we could read ourselves in our contract. They continually have told us that they will work with us, but when we asked if we could move the date of the wedding or reduce our guest count they refused.
