Services Offered

When you book an appointment at Wedding Inspirations, you will have up to 90 minutes for consultation and trying on dresses. This should give you plenty of time to find a variety of gowns, and hopefully leave the store knowing you’ve found the perfect one. Wedding Inspirations also provides alteration and preservation services, so your dress is perfect for your wedding day and every day after. They offer an inventory of:

  • Although I found my dress, it was quite unsettling to get home and stumble upon the massive hole and multiple stains, that I was not informed of, prior to purchasing. What I found even more unsettling was when I called them and had them tell me that I was wrong and I made the mistake. According to Wedding Inspirations, these things are not a "big deal" because I could easily get the dress sewn and dry cleaned. Why did they not do this? Along with this issue, I purchased gloves and a veil that needed to be ordered. Once they arrived, they did not even offer to ship those items to me and told me I would have to pick them up, even though I live in Alaska. This was not a big deal until I finally received my gloves and they were the wrong color I had ordered and paid for. I called, once again, to inform them that they ordered the wrong color and I had the boutique manager, Brittany, tell me that I was wrong and the gloves were in fact the correct color, despite me looking at pure white glov...     Dear Melissa, We regret to hear that you feel this way about your experience. The gown you purchased was a stock dress and was on sale for a discounted price. This sale price was a savings of 66.7% off of the original price. This discounted price reflects the gowns condition. At the time of your purchase, you completed purchasing paperwork and signed off, stating that you had inspected the gown and accepted the gown in its condition. Those terms stated the following: Any dress purchased off the rack at a reduced price is considered a stock sale dress. Stock sale dresses are sold as is. No returns will be accepted. No exchanges will be allowed. By purchasing a stock sale dress you understand that the dress has been tried on before and that stock dresses are not in perfect or brand new condition. The purchase of a stock dress does NOT include the cleaning, repair, or any desired changes and modifications to the dress. Cleaning, repairs, changes, and all modifications are the sole responsibility of the purchaser. If you no longer have a copy of your signed purchasing agreement, we are happy to provide you a copy of that upon request. The hole near the zipper that you are referring to, was discussed during your appointment, as we had a seamstress come over to confirm that it could be easily mended during alterations. Although outlined in the purchase agreement form, that your purchase does not include any cleaning, your stylist had a conversation with you at that time of your visit that she would be happy to attempt to spot clean your gown, if our boutique had the opportunity of having your gown back to our store for alterations. We however, did not have this opportunity, as you informed us at a later date that you would not be traveling back to the area and would need to have your alterations done elsewhere. Since your gown was in your possession, we did not have the opportunity to compare your gloves, that were special ordered, to your dress color. They were ordered in the color agreed upon at the time of your visit; however there are various shades of ivory when ordering from various designers. Without the ability to compare dress color to gown color, our staff has no ability to know rather or not they were compatible. We did offer to provide shipping services to you for your veil and bridal gloves that were ordered. We e-mailed you a quote for this service. You called to inform us that you were going to have someone pick up your merchandise instead. Although, the boutique has a policy that no refunds or returns are given or accepted, on any purchases or orders, as a courtesy, we made an exception to you regarding the gloves. We arranged a return shipping label for you to send the gloves back to us since you indicated that they did not match your dress. Our goal is always to provide a wonderful experience for all of our customers and while your shopping appointment appeared to be a positive one, it is unfortunate to hear that you feel your experience after your purchase wasn’t.
